Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and creative photography and video editor specializing in architecture and high-end real estate. In this position you will primarily be responsible for editing photo and video projects. You will also be responsible for some office admin responsibilities, such as responding to emails, invoicing, scheduling jobs, etc. Your creative and technical expertise will play a pivotal role in our clients’ success.

Schedule

18-20 hours per week, preferably M-W, but I’m flexible on days of the week. Potential for full-time position in the future. Most work is done at the office, but I’m open to partial remote work when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and enhance both photos and videos to ensure they meet the highest quality standards, maintaining a consistent style and visual identity.
• Correct exposure, color balance, and composition to create visually appealing and impactful images.
• Edit videos to include transitions, graphics, text overlays, and music, enhancing the storytelling aspect of the content.
• Utilize industry-standard software (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) to edit, retouch, and manipulate images and videos.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, techniques, and tools in photo and video editing to ensure cutting-edge results.
• Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure that all edited content adheres to the established guidelines and maintains high levels of visual excellence.
• Prepare and manage client invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Keep track of payment status and follow up as needed to ensure timely receipt of payments.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering exceptional results within given timeframes.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Photo and Video Editor with a strong portfolio showcasing architecture and real estate photography/video editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro), Final Cut Pro, or equivalent software.
• Strong understanding of color correction, retouching, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Familiarity with architectural and interior design concepts is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain a consistent style across different projects.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• A proactive and innovative approach to problem-solving and creative challenges.
• Education in Photography, Film, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred.
