Position Overview:

The Video Editor at RetroMotion Creative plays a pivotal role in bringing our brand partners’ visions to life. This role will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that aligns with our clients’ goals and resonates with their target audience. The successful candidate will possess both technical and storytelling skills, ensuring content is both engaging and in line with RetroMotion’s commitment to cinematic quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and organize raw footage to ensure content aligns with the desired storyline.
• Edit footage into a cohesive and compelling narrative that aligns with the client’s brand message and objectives.
• Implement the addition of music, sound effects, graphics, and special effects as needed.
• Collaborate closely with the director, producers, and other team members to ensure the video’s tone, pace, and style are consistent and meet objectives.
• Address and implement feedback from clients and team members.
• Maintain organized digital archives of all video assets and edits.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices to ensure our content remains cutting-edge.
• Ensure all deliverables meet the highest quality standards of RetroMotion Creative.

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a Video Editor.
• Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of storytelling techniques and narrative pacing.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Passion for producing content that drives customer engagement.

Pay:

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
