The Church Musician
The Church Musician is responsible for providing musical support for our blended worship service by playing the organ/piano, accompanying the praise team, and playing other music as needed in the service. This person will also be expected to play for special musical events in the life of the church as available.
Qualifications:
- Teachable spirit
- Good understanding of and ability to play gospel and contemporary Christian music
- Ability to play organ and piano
- Committed to living a Christian lifestyle and to serving as a Christian role model
Scope of Responsibilities:
The Church Musician will:
- Prepare and play for all worship team rehearsals
- Prepare and perform all music selections in the Sunday service including hymns, contemporary worship music, and praise team accompaniment
- Prepare and play special music as needed, including offertory and communion music
Pay: From $50.00 per hour
