We are looking for a Senior Web Designer to join a thriving marketing agency based in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, on a temporary basis (maternity cover). Essentially, you will have strong UX and web design experience using WordPress, as well as a background in graphic design. This role is maternity cover for 12-months. Hybrid working considered. We are not permitted to advertise the salary however please be assured it is highly competitive and based on experience.

About the role
As Senior Web Designer, you will primarily work with B2B clients and take the lead on all design deliverables for print and web and oversee the work of a Junior Designer. Working alongside the marketing team, you will create effective designs for a variety of projects including branding, websites, brochures, presentations, social media, and email marketing. You will play a key role in upholding brand values while bringing fresh, creative ideas to the table. You will collaborate with the senior team on strategic objectives and marketing strategy for your clients and be heavily involved with UX for web design projects.
About you:
- You have a minimum of 5 years’ industry experience and can demonstrate this in a strong portfolio of work showing creative solutions fit for purpose.
- You have experience leading junior team members and enjoy the responsibility of guiding juniors to produce their best work.
- You have significant experience in WordPress web design and UX, ideally with some in-depth UX samples in your portfolio.
- You have worked in a marketing agency and have gained good knowledge of user experience insight tools.
- You are highly skilled in Adobe software, WordPress, and have experience with email marketing platforms.
