Contract: Part Time

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
• Serve as a creative liaison between client and media outlets to ensure that all design elements and materials provide a consistent brand experience.
• Design and produce all graphic elements supporting client’s brand, social media visuals, fundraising and corporate partnership materials, email newsletters, presentations, advertising, brand installations, and other materials as assigned.
• Build relationships with and supervise external advertising, production, and design partners to ensure all materials are produced on time and meet the highest quality standards.
• Maintain client websites, using WordPress
• Marketing campaigns, environmental designs, publications, specialty products and email and web site design
• Design according to brand identity system and maintain proper use of brand assets
• Work closely with clients on all jobs and prioritize independently
• Actively participates in client and team meetings
• Provide insight to the division in areas of technical design and creative development
• Prioritizes work based on project needs, job requirements, etc.
• Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, or relevant field
• 1 or more years’ experience in graphic design, marketing, advertising or related field
• Proficient in Adobe CC – concentrating in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills and design skills
• Portfolio of work

Preferred Qualifications:

• Detailed knowledge of brand design print and digital applications
• A solid understanding of printing and paper techniques
• Knowledge of standard practices for high quality digital design and user experience required
• Experience working with photography, motion graphics and multimedia
• Familiarity with designing in responsive, interactive CMS and template platforms
• Experience in presentation software such as PowerPoint and Keynote
• Self-sufficient in current Mac OS, and font management for desktop publishing and in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Website creation a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
