Join our web development team at HII Mission Technologies. We’re seeking a Full-Stack Developer to work alongside our dedicated professionals on web-based solutions. Our projects involve using technologies such as ExpressJS, NodeJS, ReactJS, WebPack, MaterialUI, NPM, Yarn, GitLab, GIT, web sockets, REST API, Visual Studio Code, and MSSQL. Together, we aim to create applications that integrate data from diverse sources like DIS, Kafka, and MSSQL effectively.

We are currently focused on developing a web server and multiple client pages, expanding functionality with tools like Cesium, spectrum analyzers, event listeners, and MVC design. Our objective is to provide timely and precise information, catering to our user base.

As a Full-Stack Developer, you’ll be an essential part of designing, developing, and refining our web server and client applications. In collaboration with cross-functional teams, you’ll help define APIs and manage data packets, while optimizing web applications for performance and user experience.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Ensures software standards are met.
• Develop and update web server and client applications using ExpressJS, NodeJS, ReactJS, and MaterialUI.
• Team up with various departments to design and set up APIs for smooth data integration.
• Use tools like Cesium, spectrum analyzers, event listeners, and MVC design to improve application utility.
• Manage data from sources such as DIS, Kafka, and MSSQL to ensure real-time and accurate delivery.
• Incorporate modern web features, including web sockets and REST API.
• Engage with GitLab for issue management and merging requests, maintaining code quality.
• Stay informed about current web development trends and technologies to enrich project outcomes.
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.

Minimum Qualifications

9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.

Demonstrable experience in full-stack development, especially with ExpressJS, NodeJS, ReactJS, and MaterialUI.

Solid grasp of web development practices, including MVC design and web application structures.

Comfortable with version control systems like Git and teamwork via GitLab.

Understanding of web sockets, REST API, and data sourcing.

Proficiency in handling databases, particularly MSSQL, and crafting SQL queries.

Good problem-solving aptitude, thoroughness, and a genuine interest in writing efficient code.

Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
