Daily Tasks

• Create innovative and functional designs for residential spaces
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements
• Produce detailed drawings and specifications for construction
• Select and source materials, finishes, and furnishings
• Prepare presentations and communicate design concepts to clients
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely project completion
• Stay updated with the latest design trends and industry advancements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related field
• Proven experience in residential design
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong knowledge of space planning, materials, and finishes
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics

Additional Skills

• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Experience with 3D rendering and visualization
• Understanding of sustainable design principles
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
