Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled + dynamic Freelance Videographer/Digital Media Creator to help take our visual brand identity to the next level. This role offers a start-up experience where you will be given the unique opportunity to greatly shape the future trajectory of the brand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in videography, digital content creation, graphic design + marketing principles. They should be proficient in various software tools, have experience with Asana for project management, possess excellent communication skills + demonstrate a keen eye for creative detail. This role requires the ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities:

• Plan/Shoot/Edit high-quality videos that align with our brand identity + messaging.
• Utilize strong graphic design skills to create visually appealing digital assets, including but not limited to infographics, banners + social media visuals.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop + execute creative concepts that resonate with our target audience.
• Employ excellent typography skills + a solid understanding of visual hierarchy, font pairings, color theory + layout principles.
• Use Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to create engaging + consistent visual content across various platforms.
• Edit video content using Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar software, ensuring seamless transitions, engaging effects + appropriate sound design.
• Demonstrate proficiency in filming, lighting + audio equipment to produce high-quality in-house video content.
• Incorporate our brand voice/identity into all digital content, maintaining a cohesive + recognizable brand image.
• Manage projects and/or tasks using Asana, ensuring accurate tracking of requests, deliverables + deadlines.
• Leverage knowledge of social media platforms + best practices to optimize content for maximum engagement/outreach.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, providing/receiving feedback to refine content + enhance overall quality.
• Maintain a strong work ethic + manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality results within established timelines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Freelance Videographer / Digital Media Creator or in a similar role.
• A diverse portfolio showcasing expertise in videography, digital content creation + graphic design.
• 1-2 years of graphic design experience with a demonstrated ability to create both digital + print materials.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles + the ability to translate them into compelling visual content.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Premiere Pro + After Effects (or equivalent software).
• Excellent typography skills, visual hierarchy knowledge, font pairings + color theory expertise.
• Experience with filming, lighting + audio equipment to create professional in-house video content.
• Familiarity with Asana or similar project management tools for efficient task tracking + collaboration.
• In-depth understanding of social media platforms, trends + best practices.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal skills, both written + verbal.
• Self-motivated, proactive + able to manage time effectively while meeting deadlines.
• Adept at working both independently + collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay:

$25.00 - $36.00 per hour
