Contract: Contractor, Part Time

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication between engineers in the US and layout designers in China
• Contribute to analog/mixed-signal layouts from block to full-chip level

Requirements:

• Fluent in Mandarin and English
• Ability to interface with design engineers and layout designers in US and China
• 10+ years of experience in full-custom Analog/Mixed-Signal IC layout
• Proficient with Cadence Virtuoso and Cadence and/or Mentor Verification (PVS/Calibre)
• Experience with top level chip floor planning, pad placement, power supply and critical signal routing, block level routing
• Chip finishing, top level LVS/DRC/ERC closure, metal density and fill
• Create layouts with ESD and latch-up robustness
• Matching, critical device placement, coupling, electromigration and current density, routing resistance and voltage drop, parasitic extraction
• Knowledge and experience with analog blocks layouts: amplifiers, bandgap references, ADC and DAC, switch-capacitor circuits, etc.

Contract Details:

• Part-time/20 hours per week
• 4-6 months contract
• Hourly pay rate: $70.00 - $90.00
