Senior Graphic Designer
As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will develop and design innovative solutions for branded marketing, in-store marketing collateral, web, general collateral to address merchandising, marketing and overall company initiatives.
Using your creativity and ability to think “out of the box” you will play a key role in supporting our guests by:
- Contributing fresh ideas in a variety of strategy and conceptual meetings
- Providing conception design, photo direction and production of touch points such as web, direct mail, signage and collateral for the season/project by division
- Designing, creating and overseeing projects from concept to production
- Ensuring completed files are spec’d to print properly and are delivered according to timelines
- Releasing final/approved creative to web content supervisors to set up emails or homepage posts
- Researching email & website creative best practices and make recommendations for improvements
- Creating banner ads or other forms of interactive media when necessary
- Creating layout and producing emails and homepages
We’re looking for someone with:
- A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, graphic communications or related field or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of professional design experience in an advertising agency or in-house design studio environment, retail design experience a plus
- Experience in creative concept, design and production of large scale graphics, in-store marketing, promotional, and packaging
- General comprehension of front-end development to enable a strong partnership with our web development team
- Interest in emerging technologies, established design principles, and beautiful visual design
- Knowledge of web design best practices
- Advanced knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, & InDesign
- Familiarity with HTML, Premiere, After Effects, Sketch, 3D Rendering, Workfront a plus
- Knowledge of UX and Responsive design
- Intermediate knowledge of MS office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Experience with Freehand and Flash a plus
