So she set out to bottle up her findings and bring her products to a wider audience.

Job Description:

Reflekt is seeking a skilled, LA-based photographer to shoot still photos and ASMR-style videos for 6-8 hours per month. These assets will be used in cross-channel marketing, including but not limited to editorial content, social media campaigns, content marketing, newsletters, and more. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in photography and videography — bonus if you’ve worked in beauty. They should also be able to pay exceptional attention to detail to produce content that meets our brand’s standard of clean and sophisticated and not be too shy to call out what needs improvement, adjustments, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow our brand strategy and guidelines to ideate and produce on-brand content
• Shoot content solo with the flexibility to shoot in-person with our founder and social team as needed, working both independently to bring your own vision to life and collaboratively with our marketing team
• Turn around assets in a timely manner to be used across all marketing channels, including our editorial page (The Smish), social media, website, ads, newsletters, etc.
• Take creative liberty when necessary to deliver the best results for the brand
• Still photography (also on iPhone) and retouching/editing on an ad hoc basis

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience as a videographer and/or photographer
• Proven ability to shoot exceptional content with a portfolio to back it up
• Keen eye for details
• Ability to commute to Mar Vista for shoots with our founder as needed
• Passion for beauty and skincare is a plus
