Qualifications

• All candidates must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• A minimum 2 years of working experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop, required.
• Minimum of a 2-year degree in graphic design or related field.
• Page-layout and pre-press experience required.
• Experience with both print and digital media.
• Ability to manage time, multi-task and be self-sufficient.
• HTML, JavaScript and CSS skills are a very big plus.

Responsibilities

• Layout and design of a monthly print publication (average 72-80 pages).
• Layout and design of annual resident directory (average 70 pages).
• Create print ads, digital ads, sales tools for advertising manager and event marketing material.
• Coordinate with managing editor and photographers to establish and maintain brand standards.
• Upload select print content to website and collaborate with editor to create fresh content for website and e-newsletters.
• Create and schedule bi-monthly e-newsletter and maintain Mailchimp contact list.
• Upload and manage digital ads across all platforms (social media, Mailchimp, website).
• Collaborate with editor and web host to continue to grow company’s web presence.
• Attend monthly, in-person production meetings and event-planning meetings as needed.
• Assist with annual charitable events.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
