Responsible for working closely with the Social Media/PR and Marketing teams to provide digital support for Boot Barn Inc. and exclusive brands via social media. Support and collaborate with key Marketing leaders and team members. The ideal candidate will understand social media platforms, marketing strategy and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support in creation of compelling Instagram stories for all brands under the Boot Barn umbrella (will need strong graphic design skills).
  • Community management - Monitor and facilitate responses to social media posts and direct messages in partnership with the Customer Service team on all platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YELP, Google Places, etc., Maintain social media email box.
  • Expansion on influencer program - Provide support for influencer expansion in new categories to reach audiences that support company initiatives by influencer search, pitching, contract handling, payment handling, packing and shipping of PR orders, follow-up and organization of digital library, provide support in execution of Contests/ Sweepstakes.
  • Implement social media strategy on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest and YouTube for the Boot Barn family of brands.
  • Prepare social media reports for the Boot Barn family of brands.
  • Research and develop social/PR campaigns to support company initiatives, sales, traffic and branding, latest social media trends and competitor research.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Social Media/PR and Marketing teams.
  • Maintain Pinterest for all brands along with campaign launches.
  • Content creation when applicable.
  • Support social media team with handling of samples
  • Support social media team with shipments of merchandise
  • Keeps up with social media trends across platforms
  • Demonstrates high level of quality work, attendance and appearance.
  • Demonstrates high degree of professionalism in communication, attitude and teamwork with customers, peers and management.
  • Adhere to all local, federal and state laws in addition to Company policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned by management.

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Strong communication, customer service, time management and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field required
  • Minimum 1-2 years’ marketing experience with significant experience in a multi-channel retail environment
  • Demonstrates proficiency on all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Twitter, YouTube etc.)
  • Demonstrates ability to follow direction and execute tasks with accuracy and efficiency
  • Possess outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Extremely organized, detail-oriented and familiar with Google Sheets, Excel, etc.

PAY RANGE: $25.00 - $27.00 /hr *
