Axis Studios is looking to hire experienced Visual Effects Producers

Axis Studios is looking to hire experienced Visual Effects Producers to work on high-end features and TV VFX projects onsite or remote in the UK. The Visual Effects Producer is at the heart of a production alongside the Visual Effects Supervisor. You are required to manage all aspects of a show, typically involving: planning and scheduling of resources, client management, keeping track of scope/budget changes and ensuring the project comes in on time and in budget, whilst maintaining the highest quality of work.

VFX Producer Duties/Responsibilities

• Work with Exec producer in keeping the client up to date with scope changes and bids.
• Plan and schedule resources with the Visual Effects Supervisor and HOD’s to create an effective approach to the visual effects work.
• Track costs and progress of the project by reporting and sending weekly reports to Head of Production & Executive management team.
• Supervise assigned production staff.
• Responsible for ensuring the project delivers on time and to agreed margin.
• Key frontline contact to the client.
• Streamlining production processes and workflow.
• Ensure the progression of work to the client’s satisfaction.
• Ensure all facility departments are aware of the production’s requirements, for example disk space and rendering.

Required skills and experience

• Strong understanding of the VFX workflow.
• Proven experience in similar role.
• Advanced knowledge of shotgun software.
• Self-driven, good communicator and a great team player.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Experience in multi-tasking and problem-solving.
• Must be fluent in English, spoken and written.
• Calm, considerate, and friendly.
