Job Summary:

This talented visual designer will support the ACE brand, visual identity, and customer experience across all touchpoints including acquisition, retention, and engagement. Their work will connect with millions each month supporting ACE marketing initiatives while adding value to the ACE brand. The Senior Graphic Designer must have extensive knowledge of graphic design, styles, techniques, and tools. They will have experience implementing marketing campaigns that drive conversion while working side-by-side with our team of marketers to support the growth of the ACE brand, and the purchase of our products. Ultimately, the Senior Graphic Designer will operate as the lead designer on the creative team, ensuring that the design output promotes the vision of the company and achieves defined goals and objectives of marketing initiatives.

The Senior Graphic Designer must be an enthusiastic supporter of the ACE mission, our family of 90,000+ ACE Certified Professionals, and our base of followers. The person must have a passion for all things design, from digital to print, to user experience. We expect this individual to come with best practices in design strategies, experience creating landing pages, email campaigns, social media campaigns, tradeshow experience, and a fearlessness in trying new creative tactics to reach ambitious goals.

This person is a strong collaborator, equally comfortable talking strategies and visual executions with the Creative Director, messaging with copywriters, branding and positioning with marketers, and customer experience across marketing, product, and technology.

Required Skills:

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic or visual design
  • Expert-level knowledge and skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc)
  • Experience in both digital and print design production, including creating marketing campaigns, developing brands, and visual identity across all touchpoints
  • Experience in creating strong user-interface design (UI) as well as user-experience (UX) for websites and other digital assets
  • Vast experience in creating layouts (and prepping files for print) for brochures, posters, banners, multi-page documents, etc
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office PowerPoint
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, and the ability to present and sell ideas to key stakeholders
  • Ability to identify problems or issues and develop strategic solutions with minimal support
  • Strong prioritization skills to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects
  • Strong conceptual thinker and a team player who can effectively wear multiple hats on the creative team with continued enthusiasm
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic and positive attitude

Required Experience:

Responsibilities:
  • Execute on brand and marketing initiatives, from conception to final production with minimal guidance
  • Ability to review marketing briefs taking strategies, goals, and objectives and turning them into successful and meaningful design executions
  • Designs and produce creative deliverables including but not limited to; landing pages; emails, digital ads, web pages (UI/UX), newsletters, social media assets, print brochures, sales collateral, tradeshow exhibits, and presentations
  • Maintain brand identity standards and consistency of established standards while pushing to interpret them in innovative and meaningful new ways
  • Participate and often lead forward-thinking design solutions or ideas during project strategy and/or team brainstorm sessions
  • Manage production of projects from concept through completion, including coordinating resources with third parties when needed
  • Stay abreast of new design industry techniques and/or technologies that will result in process improvement
  • Effectively lead project from concept to completion ensuring timely completion while meeting or exceeding deadlines and staying within established constraints, such as time, cost, and quality standards
  • Support Creative Director in presentations to marketing and other departments
  • Work closely with the internal development team (OBT) and if needed external vendors, such as design/development agencies to provide direction and review of creative
  • Maintain a commitment to and align with ACE mission, vision, values and programs, to successfully lead teams to represent ACE
  • Work closely with Senior Copywriter and other writers through copy/design/experience strategy, providing feedback, insight, and direction as it relates to aligning messaging with design
