Job Responsibilities/Objectives

• Produce high quality and engaging graphics, illustrations, videos and motion graphics that are on-brand and audience-focused for use across our channels, constantly looking for opportunities to improve.
• Create new design templates and illustrations as required, ensuring accessibility standards are met.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Communications Department and wider organisation to advise on creative solutions.
• Supported by the Content Manager, manage own workflow, and take ownership for briefs and projects.
• Translate complex data and information into appealing, easy-to-understand infographics for use across digital channels, including the website and social media.
• Although we take a digital-by-default approach wherever possible, printed products are still required on occasion meaning the post-holder will be required to produce print content and ensure artwork is print ready.

Required Skills/Experience

• A working knowledge of graphics industry-standard software, with a high proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience creating high quality digital assets such as infographics, whitepapers, brochures and leaflets.
• Experience of applying corporate identity guidelines and ensuring their consistent application.
• Experience of implementing and advocating for an accessible and inclusive approach to creating digital assets.
• Time-management and prioritisation skills, including the ability to maintain creativity and pro-activity alongside organising and delivering a demanding workload.
• Experience of translating complex information into appealing and easy-to-understand creative assets.
• be able to accept and act on constructive criticism of your work, and review other people’s work
