Job Description

Freelance Production Designer

312 Advisors is currently in search of a Freelance Production Designer to assist the team in laying out multi-sector proposals. This part-time, freelance position offers remote flexibility, reporting directly to the Owner. This individual will be part of an agile team and will report to the Owner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Efficient working in a collaborative environment – working closely with writers and creatives, as well as working independently with minimal guidance on layouts and final deliverables
• Adhere to brand guidelines and internal production standards related to mechanical build and file management
• Maintain high standards of design and typography
• Follow production schedules to ensure tasks are being completed on time
• Provide production expertise and troubleshoot issues
• Participate in status meetings and production discussion sessions
• Review graphics, layouts, and fonts before files are released

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or relevant field of study
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in graphic design
• Proficiency in Adobe InDesign
• Strong typography and layout skills
• Exceptional ability to see projects through all phases of implementation
• Strong analytical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to juggle multiple projects at once and deliver on quick deadlines
• Process-oriented self-starter
