Contract: Contractor, 6 - 24 Months Contract

Summary

This position will focus on Design Strategy, Design Vision, UX, and UI as well as providing a long-term vision along with shorter-term “MVP” deliverables in the Health and Wellness space. On this strategically important project, you will collaborate with product development stakeholders (e.g., product and technical managers, other designers, technical writers, developers, and end-users) while crafting innovative design driven solutions. Collaboration is a huge part of this role. Being able to craft and sell in a strong vision is equally important. You will augment the team’s current capacity, to support roadmap work primarily in the “Digital Eco System" space across App, Web, and in store. This is truly an omnichannel design opportunity since most transactions that start online end up on store.

What You Will Be Accountable For

• Design software applications to support complex workflows, to visualize large datasets, or to operate system-level tools.
• Provide user interface design services.
• Collaborate with product development stakeholders (e.g., product and technical managers, graphic designers, technical writers, developers, and end-users) to deliver new products and enhancements.

What Qualifications You Need

• Formal design education or 5+ years proven design experience
• A portfolio that contains real design work that has been put into production. Multiple portfolio examples that are presented with depth – backed up by interactive prototypes
• Solid track record of cross team collaboration with Digital Product, Development, and Business teams
• Enthusiasm and a curiosity for solving problems
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Familiarity with iOS, Android and Web standards
• Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative cloud, and other related design applications
• Experience working for larger companies / within larger teams is a plus
• Digital agency experience is a strong plus
