Contract: Part Time

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with practice group leaders and individual attorneys to develop and implement practice area business development plans
• Oversee the development of Firm communications and promotional materials to support business development objectives
• Develop and effectively manage the marketing budget for the Firm and for individual attorneys
• Gather and analyze competitive intelligence on industry trends and developments that may affect the Firm
• Help develop marketing and pitch materials, including capabilities statements, brochures and web content
• Develop targeted pitches and presentations; participate in strategizing and preparing proposals and responses to RFP’s
• Collaborate with practice group leaders to develop consistent client-focused marketing and communications strategies; assists attorneys with business development efforts, RFP’s, and other client-facing initiatives
• Manage the Firm’s website (including updates to attorney biographies, news items, etc.)
• Plan and manage Firm events such as seminars, webinars, conferences, and client events
• Oversee all other marketing activities, including media relations, events, communications, sponsorships, electronic marketing, social media, etc.

Experience, Knowledge, & Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing or Communications)
• 7-10 years of marketing and/or business development experience, preferably in a law firm
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and/or problems simultaneously
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently and take initiative

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
