Duties:

• Architect, develop and integrate a HTML front-end that interfaces via custom APIs with an existing back-end to publish, in HTML form, dynamic, interactive information in target audience specific and friendly form.
• Information published includes text, tabular data, 2D graphics, audio, video and interactive 3d content elements.
• Front and back-ends will be hosted on a web server/servlet in a Windows OS environment running on sandboxed (non-networked) clients.
• Initial effort will be development of a functional concept demonstrator.
• Follow-on development may include full function development including; intra-site search, print, import/export functions, implementation of cyber security features (NIST risk assessments and controls, STIGS, source code scans etc.), other functions and features, testing and documentation.

Position Requirements:

• Citizenship Status: U.S. Person (as defined by 22 CFR§ 120.15) (REQUIRED)
• Pre-Employment Drug Test: Negative (including marijuana) (REQUIRED)
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Related field (Desired)

Experience/Skills:

• 3+ years experience and proficiency with the following technologies (REQUIRED):
• Front-end/web design
• HTML5
• CSS3
• JavaScript
• Interfacing with custom APIs
• Site search
• Java Servlets (e.g., Apache Tomcat)
• Security and best coding practices
• Using common HTML/CSS Libraries/Frameworks for UI development. Such as:
• Bootstrap
• Tailwind
• Tachyons
• Translating storyboard/concept UIs into initial web navigation layout and UI design
• Experienced and proficient with the following technologies (Desired):
• JS APIs/libraries/frameworks to embed 3D content in HTML pages using WebGL/OpenGL/Three.js (+++)
• Touch enabled web pages (++)
• Embedding audio and video content (++)
• Document Object Models (DOM) (+)
• Writing custom JS code (++)
• NIST SP 800 series and specifically SP800-171A (+++)
• STIGs (+++)
• Source code scans (++)
• Common libraries/frameworks. Such as (+++):
• TypeScript
• jQuery
• typeface.js
• Anime.js
• ReactJS
• AngularJS
• VueJS
• NodeJS
• XML (++)
• Parsing XML file as input source for Front-End development/content.
• Translate specific XML data into HTML counterparts for use in web page
