Job Description:
This is a seasonal position in the summer. Room and board included.

The Media Manager provides supervision, direction, and leadership to the Media Team (photographers & videographers) during the summer camp season. This role is responsible for coordinating schedules, organizing and communicating project expectations, as well as providing technical support for special events.
Essential Functions:
- Lead and Direct Media Team
- Coordinate team members’ personal work schedules and provide days off
- Coordinate daily production schedules
- Manage teams’ conduct
- Meet weekly to provide performance feedback with each team member
- Address issues and escalate concerns to the appropriate leader when needed
- Collaborate with videography intern, and photography intern
- Deliver short-range and long-range production schedules
- Monitor the production work in progress
- Oversee the maintenance of all media equipment
- Provide troubleshooting
- Collaborate with other teams (IT, Special Events Coordinator, Roundup Coordinator, etc.) to ensure that activities and special events are being captured
- Develop and monitor timeline for the production of end of session videos
- Maintain, clean and organize Media Team office
- Participate in daily staff and camper supervision and relational ministry
- Provide correction as necessary
- Consult with Camp Directors as needed
- Attend Central Staff Meetings
- Attend daily Morning Staff Meetings
- Lead devotions when needed
Qualifications:
- Completed, at minimum, Sophomore year of college
- Experience working at LLYC during previous summer
- Hold a current CPR and First Aid certification and a valid driver’s license
- Must agree to a criminal background check and complete the Sexual Abuse Awareness training per state camp regulations

Physical Requirements:

- Expect to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, multi- function printers, and radios.
