Mascots Inc create the world’s finest character mascot costumes. We work with global brands, film and animations studios recreating iconic characters.

We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, friendly creative translating characters into 3D drawings and renders from 2D and 3D OBJ files. You’ll also liaise with out studios in Istanbul and Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to take the lead in running our studio in Ferndown, Dorset.

Responsibilities:

• Create high-quality 3D character visualizations and renderings
• Collaborate with designers and clients to understand project requirements
• Develop and refine 3D models using software such as Adobe suite
• Apply graphic design principles to enhance visual appeal and realism of visuals
• Utilize anatomy knowledge to accurately depict human figures
• Incorporate textures, lighting, and materials to create realistic environments
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery of projects
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in 3D visualization techniques

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Unreal Engine and Autodesk Maya
• Experience in graphic design and understanding of design principles
• Knowledge of anatomy for accurately depicting human figures
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines
