Social Media Freelancer is needed in Belfast, United Kingdom.

Location: Belfast, UK

Contract: Part Time

Social Media Outreach:

• Creating and publishing engaging content on various social media platforms, such as text, photos and videos
• Creating and overseeing social media campaigns for advertising
• Highlighting team-related community events and news online
• Monitoring and responding to engagements on social media channels
• Tracking and reporting social media engagement and trends

Community Engagement:

• Managing the relationship between the organisation and the community
• Creating and executing community engagement strategies, projects, and events
• Building relationships with the community, institutions, and organisations
• Answering phone calls and responding to emails
• Ordering sporting and office equipment as needed
• Planning fundraisers and events with other clubs/organisations
• Bar service

Responsibilities:

• Ensure Social Media platforms are accurate and up-to-date
• Keep Line Manager informed of Social Media activity
• Respond in a timely manner to queries received via social media

Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal communication and written skills
• Understanding of current online trends and strategies across social media platforms
• Basic IT skills, with the ability to use software like Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Email
• Creative skills for creating fun and engaging brand content
• Image and Video editing experience

Additional Information:

Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position.

£4.2 per hour
