appétit is transforming and evolving from just an online ordering/local delivery company into a full-on hospitality solutions provider. We are evolving to offer our restaurant partners digital marketing and advertising services and need a strong web & graphic design person to help lead this new vision. This is the perfect role for someone who has been a freelancer or someone looking to take leadership in shaping a new path for a local startup.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to create visually appealing and engaging designs for various digital and print materials
• Develop and design graphics, illustrations, and layouts for websites, social media, advertisements, and other marketing collateral
• Ensure brand consistency across all design projects
• Use Adobe Acrobat, Sketch, and other design software to create and edit graphics
• Work with content management systems to update and maintain website content
• Create responsive designs using Bootstrap and WordPress
• Collaborate with developers to implement designs into web pages
• Create interactive prototypes using InVision or similar tools
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design

Experience:

• Proven experience as a graphic designer or similar role
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Strong understanding of web design principles and user experience (UX)
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
• Experience with Adobe Flash is a plus
• Knowledge of email marketing platforms like MailChimp is a plus
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
