Instructional Designer is needed in Remote, United States.

Location: Remote

Contract: Other, Contractor, Full Time

Rate: $70 to $80 /hr Effective Date: Immediate Experience Level: 5+ years Desired Work Location: Primarily remote; travel up to once per month Contract to Hire: No Anticipated Duration: through 7/31/2024 with strong possibility for extension through 12/31/2024 Anticipated Hours per Week: 40 hrs Job Summary: The Training Specialist will need to work globally to design and sustain training processes in support of essential skill building, enhanced knowledge, improved user experience, and adoption of new ways of working. Responsibilities Design and lead a global digital training strategy with an eye on both deployment and sustainment Develop and execute a comprehensive training plan for each digital capability deployment with a starting emphasis on ERP, MES, and Quality Management System and assure training deliverables are represented on the integrated plan Elicit stakeholder needs to inform and oversee development of blended learning solutions in support of digital capability deployment and sustainment Work collaboratively to assess end-user learning needs, develop course objectives, and design instructional strategies considering all regulatory and intellectual property standards Design engaging and effective learning modules for e-learning and/or instructor-led courses using a best practice learning and development methodology with a consistent tone, look, and feel with the client’s brand Lead curriculum development and sequencing of learning modules aligned to training user roles and language localizations Define and manage learning content design and revision change management Adapt to and support shifts in priorities and scope across all Business Unit’s digital pursuits as new training needs are identified Implement a best practice training effectiveness assessment approach for use in training continuous improvement in sustainment Integrate into the Business Unit leadership community and digital sustainment organization in support of value realization enabled by training management in sustainment Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience 5 years of experience with major enterprise global ERP or MES projects 3 years of a proven track record of leading the design and development of technology-enabled training content Experience working in complex global projects across multiple regions and time zones Demonstrated track record of conceiving and executing training strategies for complex, global digital system implementations Expert knowledge of instructional design theory, Adult Learning Principles, and Kirkpatrick levels of measurement Expert in use of blended learning solutions include e-learn and instructor led Desired qualifications: Experience with implementation of SAP S/4HANA Travel and Hours: Full Time Flex hours as needed to support global operations 10 – 25% travel
