Duties

We are seeking a talented and creative Videographer/Editor to join our team. As a Videographer/Editor, you will be responsible for capturing and editing high-quality videos that effectively communicate our brand message.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop video concepts and storyboards
• Shoot and capture footage in various settings, both in-studio and on location
• Edit raw footage into polished videos using Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Final Cut Pro
• Enhance videos with motion graphics, visual effects, and sound design
• Ensure video projects are completed on time and within budget
• Manage video files and maintain an organized archive of footage
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new video editing techniques
• Be available to travel to Africa at anytime

Skills

To excel in this role, you should have a strong passion for Africa and videography and possess the following skills:

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Illustrator
• Experience in video editing and motion graphics
• Knowledge of various camera equipment and techniques for capturing high-quality footage
• Familiarity with sound design principles and audio editing software
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Speak English, Portuguese and Spanish
• Have Knowledge of African History
