Job Description
Position: Senior UX/UI Designer for Mobile and Web platforms
Indicative Experience in UX/UI Design: 7+ years
Skills:
- Experience in wire framing, prototyping, mock-up creation, and user flows
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: including Adobe XD, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Proficiency in Figma and Sketch
- Proficiency in responsive design
- Experience in Agile development process
- Experience in Healthcare products would be an added advantage
Role and Responsibilities
Sr. UI/UX Designers play a critical role in shaping the digital experiences that users interact with daily. They bridge the gap between aesthetics and functionality, ensuring that products not only look good but also provide meaningful and enjoyable experiences for users. The Sr. UI/UX Designer will be a subject matter expert in creating products that enhance a user’s experiences. This role is responsible for working with cross-functional teams to develop user-centered design solutions for all levels of products and digital initiatives using research/data to create wireframes, flows, and prototypes. The responsibilities include:
- Effectively communicate design concepts, strategy, and the rationale behind design decisions
- Work on a wide variety of marketing land page projects
- Collaborate with various internal teams to understand business requirements
- Build wireframes to conceptualize landing page designs to accurately convey the user journey
- Design and generate fully interactive HTML prototypes and click-throughs for client presentations, mock-ups, and user-testing studies
- Present end-to-end designs to stakeholders across different teams
- Keep up to date on industry trends, establish and advocate for UX/UI best practices, guidelines, and standards, and emerging technologies; contribute to improvements in process and workflow
Requirements
- Experience level: 10 years
- Experience in UI: 5 years (Required)
- Experience in UX: 5 years (Required)
- Experience in responsive web design: 3 years (Required)
- Experience in Figma: 3 years (Required)
- Experience in Healthcare IT: 2 years (Preferred)
Other Information
Employment Type: Long term Contract with the possibility of Contract to Hire
Contract tenure: 12 months contract (+ further extension or conversion to client direct role)
Client Location: Orlando, Florida
Candidate Location: Orlando, Florida (The role would be onsite in Orlando and would need to work from client office in Orlando)
Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Benefits: 401(k)
Compensation package: 1099 contract
Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate: Orlando, FL 32819: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
