Job Description: Jr. to Mid-Level 3D Motion Graphic Designer

The 3D Motion Graphic Designers we are looking for must have a solid understanding of motion graphic and video editing for different devices and platforms. Core responsibilities include creating video contents for social media, mobile and web pages, informational graphics, and experience creating and maintaining style guides.

3D Motion Graphic Designers are responsible for creating and executing on design templates, with direction from and collaboration with our Creative Director and our interdisciplinary team. You will also be responsible for understanding brand needs/wants and interpreting those into designs based on desired style.

Successful candidates must have strong proven communication skills and a firm grasp of design programs such as the Adobe creative suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, InDesign, Illustrator), and more and must have the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and a willingness to keep their skills and industry knowledge current. Motion Graphic Designers will frequently assist Sr. Team members to ensure projects are being implemented correctly and that all needs are being met. Specific Role & Responsibilities

• Work with Senior Leadership to optimize products and services for a range of clients
• Conduct internal research and usability testing to ensure all designs met client and user requirements
• Analyze all research and feedback to gain user insight in order to incorporate into new designs
• Assist in the production of concept sketches, prototypes, interaction designs, etc.
• Help to create clean and simple user-centered designs. Work with our other designers and 3rd Party developers to build user-friendly graphic experiences for a variety of materials
• Assist Sr. Leadership in creating design rationale, specifications, and additional items as needed

Qualifications & Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in motion graphic design and video editing with a strong background in digital applications
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency in Cinema 4D or Blender - ability to create compelling visuals and animations of a high standard
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments, leading and working with multiple teams (especially technology, creative, media, strategy, and product development)
• Experience with interactive projects is highly desired including app development, web development, and display advertising
• Experienced with multiple campaign lifecycles from business development to final delivery
• Strong storytelling skills: ability to make complicated visual concepts accessible and engaging
• Experience in applying marketing analytics, marketing automation, and customer insights to brand strategy, campaign planning, field marketing, and UX design is a plus
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and an interest in experimentation/various communication formats is a plus
• Knowledge of publication design, processing, and current techniques is a plus
