Job Description:

Amazon’s Customer Service (CS) department is seeking an experienced Content Designer to lead content re-design for global transformation and experimentation programs. This role involves designing, testing, and setting KPIs for new formats, layouts, and templates for customer support content. The role is a maternity cover for up to 13 months.

Requirements:

  • Experience in user-centered content design
  • Ability to identify and improve content within end-to-end journeys
  • Assurance of content quality
  • Agile working and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Content concept development and prototyping
  • Effective stakeholder relationship management
  • Strategic thinking and project leadership
  • User focus and advocacy for user research

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Shape and deliver content for large-scale projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-centric content
  • Maintain content quality and best practices
  • Translate business and user needs into content solutions
  • Lead and manage content design aspects of projects
  • Review and assure quality of others’ work

About the Team:

The Senior Content Designer will work closely with the Customer Service Content Experience team, as well as with UX Research, Data Insights, Content Strategists, and Project Managers. The team is located throughout Europe and the Americas and collaborates with teams in APAC and the Middle East.

Locations:

The role can be based in several locations, including Edinburgh and London in the UK.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in complex problem-solving and working in tight schedules
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
  • Experience in user-centered content design
  • Experience in managing senior stakeholders in cross-functional projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in building processes, project management, and schedules
  • Knowledge of UX design and research processes and collaboration with UX professionals
  • Experience in driving process improvements
