Job Description:

Busy Marketing company looking for a part time talented creative graphic designer to join our team. Position will create packaging, displays, catalogues, logos, and digital assets for social media, web, and print. This position is very hands-on and interfaces with all areas of the company. If you have experience in a digital marketing company and specialize in creative “out of the box” packaging designs, we are very interested to meet you!

Responsibilities:

• Stay current on design/fashion/editorial/packaging/social media/competitor trends
• Create concepts and layouts for packaging and product displays
• Create logos for new brands
• Create graphic assets for social media, website, and print
• Execution of print & digital collateral including: company promotions, direct mail, and special projects
• Catalog layout and execution
• Collaborate with Copywriters, Marketing Team, Web Team and others on various projects

Qualifications:

• BFA in Graphic Design or equivalent
• 5+ years of graphic design experience
• Experience in packaging design
• Must be highly motivated and independent; an enthusiastic team player with a proven ability to provide fresh, innovative solutions
• Outstanding graphic design skills
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite: Especially Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign
• Must have communication skills necessary to function and collaborate productively
• Strong ability to multi-task, work under pressure in a fast paced environment, manage time efficiently to meet all project deadlines
• Immaculate attention to detail & well organized
• Must have a good work ethic & positive attitude
• Full understanding of typography + layout + print production
• High design aesthetics & great taste
