Job Description

As a Content Creator, you will work with the marketing team to bring the vision of the Highland brand to life. This is accomplished through highly focused content-driven marketing. This position requires both the creativity to generate quality content and the organizational drive to dutifully help develop and manage the content strategy.

Responsibilities

• Support the marketing team in day-to-day operations including campaigns, promotions, projects, and events.
• Develop authentic and engaging video and photo content to be marketed via all inbound and outbound channels (social media, emails, blogs, website, and on-site signage).
• Help update and keep the website and onsite collateral current.
• Help keep current our presence online via social stories and current happenings/condition reports.
• Create content that will ultimately attract and retain customers to the bike park.
• Help with content collection and keep the library organized.
• Act as an ambassador for Highland Mountain Bike Park and represent the company in a manner that enhances its image.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of photography and videography.
• Firm understanding of editing software to include Adobe Suite.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
• Basic graphic design ability to help populate simple signage/info from templates.
• Must be able to work within a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to keep organized and complete projects in a timely manner.
• Ability to work independently and keep the team informed of progress.
• Candidate must have their own camera gear (DSLR capable of shooting 1080p video/RAW photo).
• Basic understanding of major social media platforms (Google, YouTube, Facebook, & Instagram).

Schedule

This is a seasonal position. MUST be able to work weekends and evenings occasionally.

Pay

$15 – 19 / hour DOE
