Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 3D Artist and Content Developer to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of museum experiences. You will be responsible for creating visually stunning and immersive 3D environments, artworks, and interactive content that will be utilized on our MR/VR Museum SaaS platform. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of designers, developers, and museum experts to bring museums’ visions to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • 3D Asset Creation: Design and develop 3D models, textures, and animations to be used in virtual and mixed reality museum environments.
  • Content Development: Create engaging and educational content, including interactive exhibits, virtual tours, and storytelling experiences.
  • Artistic Vision: Collaborate with the team to develop a unique and captivating artistic vision for each museum’s virtual environment.
  • Optimization: Ensure that 3D assets and content are optimized for performance and compatibility across various MR/VR platforms.
  • AI and Machine Learning Integration: Work closely with AI and machine learning engineers to integrate intelligent features and personalization into the museum experience.
  • Quality Assurance: Rigorously test and troubleshoot content to ensure a seamless and bug-free experience for museum visitors.
  • Feedback Integration: Gather and incorporate feedback from museums and end-users to continuously improve the quality of the content and the platform.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to bring innovation into the development process.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, Fine Arts, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a 3D Artist, Content Developer, or similar role in the gaming, entertainment, or immersive technology industry.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max) and VR/AR development platforms (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
  • Strong knowledge of art fundamentals, including design, composition, and color theory.
  • Experience with AI and machine learning concepts is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Passion for museums, cultural heritage, and the potential of MR/VR technology in education and storytelling.

Other Information:

  • Job Type: Full-time, Contract
  • Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

  • Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday
  • Supplemental pay types: Bonus opportunities
