Job Description
We are seeking a Part-time Social Media Manager and Content Creator who is passionate about expressing creativity through social media, graphics, and video. This individual will be responsible for creating eye-catching graphics and engaging designs, handling graphic projects from start to finish, and designing graphics for social media pages, digital downloads, event handouts, and the website. They must also have a passion for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok, and be knowledgeable about social media algorithms and online marketing strategies. In addition, they will manage email marketing campaigns, social media advertising, and contribute to the development and implementation of our social media calendar and strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong graphic design background, be highly proficient in using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, and have experience with all major social media platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or related experience
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design, social media management, and/or marketing
- Highly proficient in using Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software)
- Excellent team player with multitasking, communication, and time-management skills
- Autonomous individual with visionary ideas to help build the brand and ministry
- Knowledge of design and photo-editing software
- Familiarity with social media algorithms, online marketing strategies, and marketing channels
- Experience with social media scheduling tools such as Hootsuite
- Proficient in Mailchimp and WordPress website platform
Other Information
- Location: Colleyville, TX – ON SITE (This is not a remote position)
- Salary: $18-25 per hour dependent upon experience
- Schedule: 4-5 hour shift, 20-25 hours per week
