Job Description
CTG is seeking to fill a Part-time Graphic Designer opening for our client in Rochester, MN. The Designer will be responsible for designing, directing, coordinating, and producing visual materials for the company and its affiliates in various mediums, including books, magazines, brochures, physical displays, posters, web design, electronic presentations, and multimedia products. In addition to production activities, the Designer will provide art direction, proof checks, outsourcing management, image manipulation, job bidding, and direct customer consultation.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of typography, type design, form and color theory, proportion and balance, photographic and computer imaging techniques, electronic layout skills, and exhibit/display knowledge
- Experience with Unit specific software programs
- Flexibility, resourcefulness, and strong project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and give/receive clear and concise direction
- Minimum two years of employment experience in graphic design (portfolio required for review)
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Design Technology, or related field
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
