Job Description

This is an exciting temporary opportunity to join Queen’s dynamic and ambitious marketing team as a Graphic Designer. You will play a pivotal role in creating creative concepts and developing various marketing collateral for numerous areas in the university. You will primarily work on collateral aimed at the recruitment of UG and PG students, locally nationally and internationally.

As a qualified Graphic Designer you should enjoy working within a team. You will be able to demonstrate relevant experience in a professional graphic design environment. This will include a proven track record of the design and production of a wide variety of print and marketing materials for successful, creative marketing campaigns.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent level in Graphic Design or related discipline.
  • At least 3 years’ relevant experience in a professional graphic design environment, including a proven track record of the design and production of a wide variety of print and marketing materials for successful, creative marketing campaigns.
  • Experience of and ability to understand, conceptualize and interpret graphic design requirements to meet specific briefs.
  • Experience of full Adobe suite, content management systems and other video/editing software and equipment.
  • Experience of ensuring consistency with corporate brand guidelines including styling and imagery guidelines.
  • Experience of a range of social media channels such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Tik Tok.
  • Excellent IT Skills and up-to-date practical experience of relevant software packages including Microsoft Office in a working environment.

Other Information

  • This post is fixed term for 12 months.
  • Fixed term contract posts are available for the stated period in the first instance but in particular circumstances may be renewed or made permanent subject to availability of funding.
