Job Description
Fisherman’s Post is seeking a part-time graphic designer to fulfill various design needs for the newspaper and website. The main responsibilities of this role include creating ad copy and promotional materials using Illustrator, laying out the newspaper using InDesign, and designing and updating in-house materials such as posters and handouts.
The graphic designer will also collaborate with the sales manager to ensure client needs are met.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and abilities:
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software (Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign)
- Motivated to meet deadlines and highly organized
- Experience with WordPress (preferred but not required)
- Experience with Constant Contact (preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in using social media (preferred but not required)
