Job Description
We are seeking a motivated, talented, and experienced front-end developer to work on web app solutions for clients and products. As a front-end developer at x-RD, you will be responsible for designing and implementing wireframes, prototypes, and engaging UI/UX and visualizations. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure effective and efficient UX for software and AI applications. In addition, you will create and refine UI style guides, accessibility guides, and similar documents. Sharing expertise and providing technical advice and guidance to others is also an important aspect of this role.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in front-end development and UX design using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
- Experience with front-end frameworks including but not limited to: React, NextJS, Angular, or Vue
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design
- Proficient in JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and database technologies
- Strong portfolio of design projects
- Experience with DevOps, continuous integration, and/or continuous deployment using GitLab, GitHub, or similar platforms
- Formal information technology, web development, UI/UX, or related qualifications
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Must be an Australian citizen and able to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance at BASELINE or above
Additional Skills
- Experience in software development with Python and/or Java using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or ExpressJS
- Experience deploying web applications to AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
- Experience designing intuitive and visually appealing web application user interfaces
- Experience with building interfaces and visualizations for analytics
- Experience working with clients and managing positive client relationships
