Job Description:
Web AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) Designer – Consumer Products Group. Web Designer with Adobe Experience Manager experience who will work with our Digital Experience Manager, SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Manager, D2C (Direct 2 Consumer) Growth Manager and Creative Director to define and implement visuals and website components for our B2C, B2B and eCommerce websites. The Web AEM Designer will play a key role in executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off and UI (User Interface) implementation, with a focus on solutions that are simple, intuitive and user friendly. This role will be responsible for creating UI wireframes, UI designs for approvals, and sitemaps which will act as guidelines for the UI development and implementation team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients.
- Testing and improving the design of the website.
- Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices working collaboratively with Brand Creative Lead and Digital Experience Manager.
- Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
- Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients.
- Working with different content management systems.
- Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, site maps, and wireframes.
- Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
- Designing sample pages including colors and fonts.
- Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.
Requirements:
- Education - Bachelor’s degree relevant to website design.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the web designing area for E-Commerce and Marketing.
- Strong hands-on experience in AEM Components Design, Templates, Widgets, Wizards, Tagging, Metadata Management, JCR/CRX repository concepts and Workflows.
- Knowledge in Adobe Cloud, OSGi, Maven.
- Proficient in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and other visual design tools.
- Proficient in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript.
- Good understanding of content management systems.
- Good understanding of search engine optimization principles.
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Excellent visual design skills.
- Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies.
- Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques.
- Excellent communication skills.
