Job Description

Holistic Industries, Inc. is currently in search of a Freelance Graphic Designer who possesses expertise in production art, as well as print and digital design. The role involves collaborating with our in-house creative team and taking on the responsibility of creating diverse print and digital materials for our Greenhouse of Brands. This includes tasks such as developing packaging labels, crafting in-store signage, producing leave-behinds, and creating digital collateral.

Requirements

• Work both independently and collaboratively with the Brand Marketing Manager to develop designs for print and digital channels.
• Effectively manage multiple projects concurrently, including those with tight deadlines, within a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• Utilize expertise in production design and/or packaging design to facilitate the creation and editing of labels across a broad range of SKUs.
• Seamlessly integrate into the existing packaging design workflow by updating associated assets and distributing them promptly as needed.
• Execute creative and content changes as requested through the review process, meticulously reviewing all work against requested changes before submitting for the next review.
• Demonstrate independent judgment, make definitive choices, and proactively solve problems.
• Stay informed about and capitalize on emerging design and industry trends.
• Other duties as assigned, or any reasonable request from any member of management.

General

• Regulations require that incumbent be at least 21 years of age.

Education/Experience

• 3+ years of graphic design experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating experience in marketing and sales collateral design.
• Experience with production and/or packaging design preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong knowledge of typography, color, hierarchy, and balance.
• Excellent organizational, time management and communication skills with the ability to explain rationale behind design decisions to key stakeholders.

Technological Skills

• Fluent in Adobe Creative Suite primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Experience with Canva.
• Experience with Dropbox.
• After Effects and Adobe XD a plus.

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Professional demeanor, strong work ethic.
• Working understanding of production design standards and building files to spec.
• Able to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, deadline-driven environment.
