Job Description:
As a Designer at Pretty Little Thing, you will be responsible for designing and developing ranges in line with current trends and brand direction. You will focus on creating innovative designs for short and long lead time departments. You will work closely with Senior Designers and the Head of Design.
Requirements:
- Proven experience within a previous design role (multi-product womenswear preferred)
- Experience in managing and developing a team
- Excellent skills with CAD systems (Photoshop and Illustrator)
- Trend leader with the ability to work at a fast pace

Responsibilities:
- Conduct design research using directional shopping, fabric fairs, and catwalk awareness
- Evaluate the commercial potential of designs and articulate key shapes and volume lines
- Create concept boards and packs for design presentations
- Create technical packs for suppliers
- Collaborate with Buying and Merchandising teams to support overall range delivery
- Travel to supplier bases for seasonal sourcing and new opportunities
- Ensure product availability for look books, campaigns, and ecommerce shoots
- Flexibility to travel between offices when required
