Job Description:

GradImages® is looking for photographers to work at graduation events in and around Los Angeles, CA. The photographers will be responsible for taking portraits of graduates and their families and assisting with event logistics. They will work on location and be trained on site.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 1 year of photography experience using a DSLR camera.
• Candidates must have a flexible schedule and be able to work during graduation seasons in April, May, June, August, and December.
• Candidates must have their own reliable transportation to and from events.
• Candidates must be dependable, punctual, and have good time management skills.
• Candidates must be able to dress professionally and own a dark colored business suit.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist graduates and photographers during graduation events to ensure quality photos.
• Set up camera equipment and other equipment according to event specifications.
• Take portraits of graduates and candid photos of their families and friends.
• Work with team captains and assistants to provide excellent customer service and ensure smooth event operations.
• No post-production, editing, or selling required.

Additional Information:

• The pay range for Trainee Photographers is $80-$100 per graduation ceremony, with the ability to earn more based on performance, attitude, availability, and reliability.
• Shifts usually last around 4 hours and may require work on weekends.
• Candidates may be subject to pre-employment screening, background checks, and social media reviews.
