Job Description:

The ideal candidate for this role will have a track record of successfully conceptualizing, designing, and implementing user-centric interfaces and experiences. They must be proficient in utilizing a range of UX design software tools, such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD, to create high-quality user interfaces and prototypes. Effective communication skills are essential, as the candidate will need to articulate design rationale and ideas to stakeholders and team members. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to create interactive and user-friendly clickable prototypes are also important.

Requirements:

• Demonstrate a track record of successfully conceptualizing, designing, and implementing user-centric interfaces and experiences, supported by a robust portfolio showcasing various projects and design methodologies.
• Proficient in utilizing a range of UX design software tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and others, demonstrating adaptability and familiarity with industry-standard design platforms to create high-quality user interfaces and prototypes.
• Effectively communicates design rationale, articulating conceptual ideas and decisions coherently to stakeholders and team members, ensuring a clear understanding and buy-in for design choices.
• Capable of producing visually compelling designs that not only captivate users but are also structured for evaluation, ensuring alignment with user preferences, needs, and usability standards.
• Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams, demonstrating strong communication skills to work seamlessly alongside UX Researchers and Usability Engineers, fostering a cohesive environment to translate insights into exceptional user experiences.
• Possesses an understanding of the workflow throughout the application lifecycle, ensuring design solutions align seamlessly with user needs and business objectives.
• Capable of creating interactive and user-friendly clickable prototypes to visualize and iterate on design concepts effectively.

Additional Information:

Location: Hybrid; Ideally located in Chicago, IL - Can go into the office 3x/week.

Project Duration: 01/15/2024 - 03/31/2025

Eligibility Requirements:

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
• As a contractor, including remote contractors, you must complete a background check, which includes a drug screening (zero tolerance policy).
