Job Description

We are seeking a seasonal/part-time school photographer in Southern Arizona. As a school portrait photographer, you will be responsible for capturing photos of school-age children and making them smile. This is a fun, exciting, and rewarding career opportunity. You will work with INTER-STATE STUDIO AND PUBLISHING COMPANY, a National School Portrait and Publishing Company that has been a leader in the industry for 90 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take portraits of elementary, middle, and high school students
• Create a positive and enjoyable photography experience for students
• Work collaboratively with other team members
• Follow company guidelines for photography and customer service

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
• 1 year or more of steady work experience
• Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Clear background check
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Some photography experience preferred, but not required
• Computer knowledge is helpful

Additional Information

Training for the fall season begins on July 10th - 11th. Paid training is provided. The equipment used is very user-friendly. The job offers flexible days and hours to fit your personal schedule, and most school holidays and summers are off. The job types available are part-time and temporary. The pay ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour. Benefits include a flexible schedule. The work location is in person.
