Job Description:
The Weekend Content Manager / Digital Producer position at KNDU-TV is a part-time role responsible for managing news assignments, coordinating logistics, monitoring news wires and scanners, writing digital stories for the website, making posts to social media accounts, and coordinating assignments with other Content Managers. The position requires experience with professional broadcast, print, or online news organizations. The Content Manager will be the quarterback of the newsroom, prioritizing story treatment across various platforms and ensuring that the team is always moving the ball (product) forward. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy being in the center of action and can juggle multiple tasks.
Requirements:
- Previous experience with a professional broadcast, print, or online news organization (preferred)
- Experience with computer programs, social media, and phone skills
- Willingness to work overtime when necessary
- Ability to coordinate and manage logistics for multiple employees and equipment
- Bachelor’s degree in Radio/Television, Film, Fine Arts, or related field (preferred)
Other Requirements:
- Passion and dedication to news
- Great storyteller and writer
- Knowledge of AP style writing (a plus)
- Ability to meet daily deadlines and work cooperatively with other staff members
- Newsroom computer software experience (preferred)
- Must possess a valid driver’s license with no DUI convictions

Salary Range: $16.30/hr to $17.00/hr
