Job Description:
Eddie Bauer is seeking a Temp-Social Media Specialist to collaborate with marketing and creative teams to enhance the brand and build strong online communities through the various Eddie Bauer social channels, including Instagram, Meta, X (Twitter), and TikTok. The Social Media Specialist will work closely with the Senior Social Media Manager to develop and execute monthly content calendars, manage day-to-day operations of social media channels, create engaging written, video, and photo content, and stay up-to-date with social media trends. They will also attend photo and video shoots, monitor user-generated content, coordinate outreach to content creators and influencers, and research competitor trends and audience preferences.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
- 2-3 years of previous social media and/or creative marketing experience
- Naturally curious, idea generator, and avid user of social media platforms
- Knowledge of consumer behavior and trends in social content
- Strong understanding of shooting and/or designing authentic content for social platforms
- Knowledge of creative and management tools such as Canva and Later
- Ability to navigate both the creative and analytical sides of social media
- Ability to brainstorm new ways to bring the brand to life on social media
- Works well with a team while also being able to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently
- Demonstrated experience with social media management tools such as Dash Hudson and Emplifi
Other Information:
This is a contract position for 40 hours a week, with the expectation of working three days in the office at Eddie Bauer’s Seattle Headquarters. Some travel may be required. The candidate must have authorization to work in the United States. Physical requirements include the ability to perform essential job functions, maintain regular attendance, operate a computer, and communicate effectively.
