About KIDLY
We’re a modern retailer of stylish and sustainable things for 0-5s. We make and sell our own brand, KIDLY Label, alongside a selection of third party brands that complement it. Open for business since May 2016, our ambition is to be the modern shopper’s store of choice for the 0-5s in their lives. We’ll do this by upholding the values that we’ve crafted over the last seven years. Which are:
- Making shopping for kids as enjoyable as shopping for yourself.
- Always being helpful and always being here to help, no matter what.
- Continuously listening to our customers and acting on what they say.
- Selling only quality, design-led & genuinely useful things.
- Knowing we’re all in it together. Being nice to customers, suppliers and each other and championing equality, inclusion and tolerance at every opportunity.
- Always backing up our choices with parent feedback and opinion.
- Taking responsibility by striving to lessen the impact we have on the environment.
The Office
KIDLY HQ is in Leavesden, near Watford, and we share it with ASOS. It is a wonderful environment, newly refurbished, with loads of space and light, an on-site coffee shop and canteen and a large (free) gym. There’s also a free shuttle bus to and from Watford Junction station, morning and afternoon.
Salary and Hours
The role is freelance, 1-2 days per week (days to be decided with candidate) at our KIDLY HQ in Watford.
Additional Information
The KIDLY culture is one of positivity, helpfulness, and mutual respect. Anyone that joins us will share these qualities, have a sense of humour, but also be a driven professional. We have lots to do and, although we enjoy each other’s company and have fun, we all know why we’re here and are driven to achieve those goals. It also helps here if you love customers and retail. Most of us are our own customers, in that we either have young kids, or we’re proud aunts and uncles. We also love e-commerce, all the data it produces, and all the fun you can have trading and interacting with customers in real-time. This is something you can learn to love, if retail is not your natural habitat, as long as you have a passion for shopping, have a bit of a geeky side, and like people!
