Job Description

Resonance is building a more sustainable and valuable fashion industry through a combination of AI-powered technology and human ingenuity. They are seeking a dynamic, collaborative, and results-oriented 3D designer with extensive experience in 3D design. The ideal candidate should thrive in a fast-paced environment, exhibit curiosity, possess a visionary perspective, and have the ability to influence key decisions. The responsibilities for this role include:

• Developing and maintaining 3D asset libraries/database archive for garment trims and accessories
• Creating high-poly 3D models for buttons, zippers, labels, and other components using Blender or other 3D tools
• Reconstructing 3D objects accurately from technical drawings, CAD models, photographs, and videos
• Generating texture materials using Adobe (Photoshop, Illustrator) or Substance Suite
• Texturing and recoloring assets, rendering digital assets from mechanical design to organic objects in preferred tools for photorealistic visualization
• Exporting assets in FBX and GLB file formats
• Collaborating cross-functionally with tech designers, 3D engineers, AI specialists, and the production team
• Documenting workflows and presenting decks to the team
• Staying informed on technology related to 3D and photorealistic imaging to streamline CGI development
• Ensuring artwork is optimized for highly interactive digital platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphics Design, Accessories, Fashion Design, Technical Design, or related fields
• 1-3 years of experience as a 3D designer (Model/Texture/Surface/Lighting/Render) in a 3D Fashion Design Environment, VFX Production, or Game Development
• Proficient in Blender, Maya, Zbrush, or CLO3D, Browzwear Vstitcher, and/or Substance Suite
• Ability to create both organic and hard surface models with efficient topology
• Understanding of garment construction is advantageous
• Strong time management skills and the ability to balance priorities under the pressure of a deadline-driven design calendar
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Keen eye for proportions/details/colors
• Approachable, proactive, and accommodating attitude with an ability to follow instructions
• Enjoy working in a collaborative team environment
