Job Description:
MOBU is a startup health supplements company based in Worcester looking for a talented videographer and editor. The role involves creating exciting and informative videos for social media platforms, including short form content reels for TikTok/Instagram and longer informational videos for YouTube. The ideal candidate should have a sense of humor, a strong drive to learn and grow, confidence, and the ability to think outside of the box.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality video footage using professional equipment
- Edit and produce videos using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and other editing software
- Collaborate with the team to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects
- Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style
- Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and animations using Adobe After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite
- Conduct video shoots on location, including setting up lighting and audio equipment
- Manage and organize video files and assets
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new video editing techniques
Requirements:
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effects, and other video editing software
- Strong knowledge of photography principles and techniques
- The ability to work well under pressure
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop
- Confident in producing photo/video content
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and take initiative on projects
Additional Information:
- Ideally, the successful candidate should have a sense of humor, be self-motivated, and enjoy talking with people and building relationships
- Attention to detail and a friendly attitude are essential
- This is a part-time role, but has the potential to become full-time in the future
- Salary: £11.96 per hour
- Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
