Job Description:

The role involves capturing and editing photographs and videos for ActUp Theater Arts Academy events. The responsibilities include:

• Photography and videography coverage of events
• Editing and distributing selected and unselected images
• Optimizing and delivering images within agreed timelines
• Working with tight deadlines and coordinating with the employer
• Working independently and collaboratively with the team
• Managing multiple tasks with attention to detail
• Keeping up with the evolving nature of social media
• Conducting complex photoshoots at various venues
• Experimenting with lighting effects
• Creating headshot photography
• Contributing to the growth of the business through quality imagery
• Convening safe spaces to promote empathy and understanding
• Communicating with the team and attending staff meetings
• Handling additional assignments as requested by supervisor

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of photography and videography in the digital domain
• Experience with industry-standard editing tools and asset management software
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail
• Commitment to deadlines and flexibility in working hours
• Sound knowledge of social media trends
• Background in creative arts preferred
• Self-starter with a strategic mindset
