Job Description

PENNEP is seeking a skilled Population Health Data Architect to join our client’s dynamic team. As a Population Health Data Architect, you will play a crucial role in defining the high-level data architecture for our Population Health solution.

Responsibilities

  • Define the high-level data architecture for our Population Health solution, ensuring it aligns with the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
  • Provide advisory assistance to the team by leveraging your expertise in data architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders, to ensure the seamless integration of the data architecture within the Population Health solution.
  • Create comprehensive documentation of the data architecture, ensuring clarity and transparency for all team members.
  • Create and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
  • Optimize data warehouse performance and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data warehouse issues.
  • Perform quality assurance checks to guarantee the accuracy and efficiency of the implemented data architecture.
  • Ensure that the data architecture is developed within the specified timeline, meeting the project’s deadlines.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data warehousing.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Data Architect, with a specific focus on Population Health Data.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, and database management systems.
  • Proficiency in database design principles and SQL programming.
  • Experience with big data technologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to provide advisory assistance and recommend approaches and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in documenting complex data architectures.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

  • Experience with healthcare data standards and interoperability.
  • Knowledge of population health management tools and platforms.
  • Familiarity with data governance and compliance in the healthcare industry.
  • Exposure to machine learning and predictive analytics in a healthcare context.
  • Certification in relevant data architecture or population health domains.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
